email address and correspondence address, when you register for an account. If you choose to
become a subscriber of the Fortress Study Group, we and STRIPE, our third-party payment processor
will collect your payment information. When you use the www.fsgfort.com or www.fortfinder.com
web site, we may receive certain information about you as described below. We do send some
promotional material but only in relation to up and coming Tours, Visits, Conferences, or other
activities of the Fortress Study Group. This will usually be sent to you by the email related to your

We use the information that we collect to operate and maintain the web site and for sending out
hard copies of FORT and Casemate for those members who do not have Digital Membership. We
also use this information to promote academic studies within the Charity and to help improve our
online offerings.

personal information in locations outside the direct control the Fortress Study Group (for instance,
on servers or database co-located with hosting providers). Any personally identifiable information

Billing information in retained for a period of 7 years as of the provision to Fortress Study
Group in accordance with the England and Wales Charity Commission and taxation laws
Information on legal transaction between service providers and subscribers of the Fortress
Study Group is retained for a period of 3 years as of their provision to the Fortress Study
Group in accordance with the general limitation period set for the civil claims in the United
Kingdom.
