The Battery du Cap Mine was built in 1898 as a Batteries Ruppture. It was armed with four large 320mm guns firing on an almost fixed line. The guns remain in place. During WW2 the British placed some armaments on the roof, possible AA and a searchlight. Nearby there is a British Twin 6-pounder gun.
