FSG Award

In 2014 the FSG began awarding plaques to exceptional examples of the restoration or the reuse of fortifications. This work ensures that our built military heritage will be available to future generations.

The first plaques were awarded in September 2014 to the Landguard Fort Trust and to Chapel Bay Fort. In 2015 Grey Point Fort in Northern Ireland was awarded a plaque in recognition of the work done there.
